Wreaths can serve as powerful totems that remind us of our cyclical connection to ourselves, to others and the world around us. Here at Tapalou Guilds we use dried flowers and foraged plants to make our wreaths. All summer long we collect and dry flowers for the long, cold Winter months. We carefully weave willow, wild grape vine and dogwood into the base. Then we build upon that base, filling out the pattern, tucking flowers and pods into the crevices. It’s a meditative process that lends itself to alignment, expansion and closure.
